I had a wonderful experience with the shuttle service last Tuesday night/Wed a.m. I had parked my car at valet for a 7 day period (by the way I am still upset that valet has tripled their prices for a 1% improvement in their service) Since the roads were still snow and ice covered, I asked the shuttle service if they had room for me. Both the scheduler and the driver were very pleasant and accommodating and signed me up. I was so relieved that I didn't have to continue my already 15 hours of travel with a white-knuckle drive to Iowa City. My driver (sorry, forgot your name) (and the two other passengers) were so patient while I put my car back in valet and retrieved my luggage. The driver was excellent and after delivering the first two to their destinations, he drove down my slippery road and even attempted the steep driveway. When it was clear that the van wouldn't make it, he parked on the street and walked me up my driveway to my door. It was so great to get such good service after a nightmarish travel day. Kudos to your staff. I am planning to ditch the valet service and go with the shuttle from now on!!

I have used this service three times. The first was awesome; they picked me up exactly when scheduled, and then, after my trip, delivered me home safely to Coralville late at night. The second time I used them, the driver called me at the exact time he was supposed to be picking me up, needing clarification on my location. Only problem? He was looking for me in Cedar Rapids, not Coralville!! So it was a mad dash to the car (which had very little gas) and to the airport. The third time was just last week: They were to pick me up in Coralville at 5:15 AM, and called me at 4 AM to say they'd be unable to pick me up due to a driver going in the ditch. So, once again-- and this time driving thru snow and a one lane highway- I dashed to the airport in my own car (this time thankfully I was good on gas). It was a treacherous, nerve wracking trip. So I guess my advice is: if you book with this service, ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN B FOR BACK UP!!

I took the airport shuttle last year and was served by an unprepared and unprofessional driver. My first impression on him was that he had minimal concern for his passengers as reflected by his turning the radio distressingly loud throughout the ride. More importantly and outrageously, he had a very vague idea of where my destination was and had to ask me several times where to make a turn. My destination was clearly stated in the reservation form well in advance of the ride, so he could, at the minimum, have researched the exact route beforehand. I complained to the shuttle service and never heard anything.

I used the Cedar Rapids Airport Shuttle Service last Christmas and had a great experience (5-star review). When I called to schedule a shuttle for my flight back for Thanksgiving this year, however, I was told by the shuttle service that my flight arriving at 11:44 p.m. the night before Thanksgiving was "too late," because the shuttle service was "short staffed" that day. This was surprising, because my flight back to Iowa last Christmas landed at 12:37 a.m., and they had a shuttle ready for me at that time. The shuttle service earned an especially low rating because--as we all know--the day before Thanksgiving is one of the heaviest travel days in this country. I understand that all employees want to be home at a reasonable time the night before Thanksgiving, but we Iowan travelers need you. Do better, Cedar Rapids Airport Shuttle Service.

I'll give you the moral of the story up front and you can wade through the paragraph for the balance: if you have to make it to the airport on time... find another route. These guys and galls can't get the job done. Oh Jeez... like walking into a *x* storm! I had done the prudent thing and scheduled way in advance for ride from the airport to my home in "suburb" of Cedar Rapids. What a great trip I was having - everything was on time the weather was great. I went directly to the counter and wanted to check in. An elderly lady popped her head over the counter advised me in an exceptionally rude demeanor that she didn't have a driver and if I didn't like it I could take a cab! Wow! Like hitting a hornets nest and not what I had expected! As a regular traveler you have to be somewhat flexible and expect the unexpected but... It worked itself out. However, in retrospect, this incidence clearly lays out how unreliable this service is. I can't imagine sitting at a hotel at 5AM waiting for my shuttle to arrive only to be told that I should take a taxi... How in the world am I going to recover...

Professional service if you have a little extra time. Ask for discounts if round-trip needed or multiple passengers to same location. Advantages: -was able to get a reservation the same day (varies during busy travel times) -very professional driver -clean and comfortable vehicle -decent rates (taxi would have costed 25% more) Disadvantages: -the drive to my location should be 35 minutes; however I was required to wait for a shuttle to return and was then the last person on the shuttle to be dropped off. While this is completely random based on the other locations individuals are being dropped off... be aware there can be significant additional time needed. For me total additional time above what a taxi/personal vehicle would have 1 hour.

The driver was amazing. I left my wallet in the van and he went waayyy out of his way to return it. HOWEVER, the woman at the front desk was very grumpy and rude. I was going to leave the driver a big tip after he returned my wallet, but it was a different driver. He left it at the front desk. I called the woman telling her that I saw the other driver just run in and out and was confused. She yelled at me saying that the driver handed the wallet over to the people at the front desk and they acted like they had no idea what he was talking about. She was very, very mean. The important thing was that they did what they said they were going to do. He could've easily said that the wallet wasn't there and he could've stolen everything, but he didn't. Great drivers. Grumpy old receptionist.

Had to wait awhile but it was after midnight when we arrived at the airport so it was fine..
