I hate giving a single star to this. The staff was very kind and respectful. The food was amazing. All except for the shredded beef. It had about a 1-1 ratio of beef-cilantro. I have never in my life seen a dish with so much cilantro in it. I'm not sure if they make a cilantro free version. If they don't, I probably won't return and that makes me very sad. Because everything else was so fantastic. However, I couldn't eat the main dish.

Picture is misleading you only get 1 instead of the 3 as shown in the last picture. Also it’s sides list it like that would be added to the empanada like black beans and green chili. No they are extra sides so this dish in picture cost 12. Definitely not worth it.

Amazing service. Great vegan amd gluten free options. Incredible cuisine. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, or with a good beer.

Their pan de jamón is to die for! Crazy good guava-cream cheese cachitos and Empanada (Shredded Beef & Cheddar & Green Chile) are my favorite things to order. Their big smiles delicious food Perfection \u003c3

Greasy, and moving away from the true recipe too much. Empanadas are meant to be a “taken” meal that has plenty of flavor and energy creating nutrients. Chaco’s may have placed calories in a frier, but missed the mark on the other. Corn meal is a fine option for gluten free, and understandable around the young crowd of the Sawmill but, it leaves for much more greasy dish than a flour wrap. In addition, the filling was simple and poorly executed. Dry meat, store bought tasting veggies, and unmelted, cheap cheddar cheese that left a strange feeling when biting on the greasy shell. In conclusion, tastes for a Spainish or alternates in central/South America empanadas yield a big fat ZERO... Alcohol soaking something... I would think it’s a FOUR.

This restaurant has excellent food. I had a vegetarian sandwich that was memorable.
