The grilled steak with the tostones, yellow rice, and beans was Amazing and a very large portion so leftovers are going home with you lol.
The food I ordered from this restaurant today was so delicious that I had to take a few minutes to make sure I left a good review.. to start off the food was made fresh cooked to order & very generous in portion so it was really worth it taking a day off from my kitchen at home. It was very easy placing my order over the phone with the friendly staff & the food was ready for me to pick-up from the restaurant in a timely manner. I love supporting local businesses in my town & I highly recommend Latin American Restaurant in Boonton! - P.S. the food was delish :)
Fantastic food. The foods in the Honduras section of the menu are a great choice. A little hole in the wall but super clean. Don’t expect anything fancy but the food quality is outstanding and so is the service. I will definitely keep coming back.
This was my first time at this restaurant. Let's just say I was truly impressed by the food. The food was well seasoned and staff was very friendly. I will be going here again!
Good prices, but not a fan of their rice & beans
One of the best restaurants in town. The quality has stayed great over the years, prices are reasonable and I’ve never had issues with the service. I’d highly recommend the chicken sope, alambre tacos and burritos if you don’t know where to start but everything I’ve gotten has been delicious. Even my extremely white and picky grandma loved the food from here.
I tried to order through GrubHub for dinner today. Operative word here is “tried”. I scheduled delivery for 8 PM. A driver showed up with the food two hours early. I told him we ordered for 8 PM, poor guy had to go back. I called the restaurant to see what was going on. The first person I spoke to hung up on me. The guy who finally answered spoke barely any English and seemed very frustrated but basically told me the kitchen doesn’t read tickets thoroughly sometimes, I shouldn’t have ordered if I didn’t want the food right away, and they’re not remaking it for me so tough luck. I’ve never been met with such poor service from a restaurant when the mistake is on their end. I was forced to cancel and figure out new dinner plans last minute. It’s a shame as we were really looking forward to the food that the positive reviews gush over. In the meantime, sounds like management and kitchen staff could use a stern word or some retraining.
