Amber Terrace in general is a nice school. However, the special education department needs improvement. It did improve towards the end of my child's stay here. In the beginning, the teacher that he had was horrible, she neglected the students and we later found out talked bad about them. My child told me this after the fact. The school quickly got rid of her. As far as the special education program. We (spouse and I) rarely received updates about our childs improvement and it was hard to reach the teacher by phone. Did not respond by email. They did not even get real homework just art projects. We had no idea what our child was learning at the school. So communication needs major improvement. The school waits until the last minute to notify parents of any activities, programs, and announcements. This makes it hard for parents to be involved and make arrangements. I hope that this school improves so that the special needs kids do not get left behind. Many people overlook these kids who are unique and very smart.

Worst school I ever dealt with and the nurse there do not do her job correctly the principal is very rude they threaten me and my husband because they want something done on they time
There's this boy in my class he is from Amber Terrace and he was bad everyday
