As a retired law enforcement officer I have a good deal of experience dealing with all types of charecters and no a good man when i see one. If your in the business of looking for a mobile home dealer do not hesitate to do business with Ames Home Center. I had a bad experience with Pine View and went to Ames. Tim understood the concerns and took the ball and ran. He sold us a home off the lot, and did the application to 21st Mortgage and dealt with the concrete man for the slab to the new home. Tim and his very professional crew go beyond the call of duty and do excellent work for you. I even help put the two sides of our home together and saw how much this crew is very professional and must have things perfect or they don’t like the work. All the guys at Ames Homes are top notch in there respected fields of expertise. Don’t get hung up on some of the pitty poor reviews that you read here. Some of them aren’t worth the time it took to write it. Trust me you can’t go wrong with Ames Homes Center. Kevin Cookson

We purchased a home from this company in 2003, a long time ago but I will never forget it. At the time, a man named Charlie was our salesman..I hope he isnt still there for other's sake. Without going into detail, it was a very shady experience and there were so many issues and lies. I would NEVER recommend them even years later. It was so stressful and completely ruined my trust in these companies.

Bought a home in 2007 from these crooks, have had nothing but problems ever since!! Also before purchasing a home you should have someone inspect it as we have found many areas that were built with shortcuts or not up to HUD standards. Latest was when I had to install a new bath vent, first time up in ceiling and hardly any insulation up there, broken sheething that was “ patched” with small boards and the trusses dont appear to be built to withstand a snow load, definately not 2x4 posibly even smaller than 2x3. Was told it had either plywood or osb exterior wall sheething yet have found areas that only have this flimsy cardboard looking insulation with nothing behind it!! I could go on and on but you probably get the picture

Ames homes have a fair price on homes.

I wouldn't even waste my time contacting this company. They only cater to low income families in theory. The man we spoke to on the phone was downright rude simply because we are pet owners. For friendly service and people that actually care, I suggest Pine View Homes.
