I emailed almost every arborist on the San Antonio Arborist Association directory with concerns about the health of our established suburban backyard trees. Unfortunately, it just happened to be right at the start of Covid-19 social distancing in March 2020. He was the ONLY arborist who took the time to consult in the rise of a global pandemic. I received a call that day, sent pictures, and discussed my concerns. I was given sage advice on the health and care for our trees. This is our first home. Before that day, I'd never heard about the importance of root flare or the problems with over-mulching. I've never taken the time to write a review. However, I am truly appreciative for the time. I hope my review helps guide you to finding relief for your tree health concerns.

Wow! I am so thankful for Kevin and his kindness. I found him online (treesaregood.org) as a ISA Board Certified Master Arborist. Looking more into his company, I quickly realized that his passion and knowledge of trees was outstanding! He shares lots of information on his website (arborcareandconsulting.com) and it made me feel confident of having him guide me on good tree care. After leaving a him a voicemail, Kevin quickly returned my phone call. He spoke with me about my concerns and he addressed the emergency oak wilting situation around the Central Texas area. After sending him several pictures of my trees and tree trucks, he identified them, and provided resources on what I could do to help the trees. I highly recommend him for his outstanding customer service, promptness, knowledge, and most importantly he glorifies the Creator of it all.

Excellent consultation service! I called Kevin with some questions and concerns about several trees on my new property. Being a first time home owner, I wanted to be sure I was acting fast on any potential diseases, and I wasn't sure if I had an oak wilt situation or something else. After submitting the online inquiry, I promptly received a response phone call from Kevin. I sent him photos of my trees and received a quick response and plan of care. In my case, I was relieved to find out that it was not oak wilt, and I am thankful for the quick and knowledgeable response. I would definitely recommend this company.
I called in a panic on a Sunday because I thought my live oak was turning yellow. Kevin had me send him pictures and within minutes called to tell me that it was in fact a cedar elm tree and supposed to turn with the seasons. Awesome! (I'm not a native Texan, I don't know the trees here yet).
