This place is a mad house . The employees have no customer service skills at all. I applied for a new passport due to change in marital status and up until today, I have not received my passport. I went there yesterday and they couldn't find my documents. I had to go and make fresh copies of all my documents. I came back , submitted my documents and I was told that I have to submit additional documents which I have to obtain from Nigeria.Can you imagine that after two years of waiting. My advice to my fellow Nigerians living here in the States is to renew your passport in Nigeria. It's faster and easier. How I wish I don't have to go back again because it's very stressful.

This people are the same country called Nigeria that has not worked. You go with an appointment they will tell you that you don't have one even after looking at your appointment papers .
I am in the worst predicament! I have been trying to get a hold of Nigerian embassy in Atlanta since April 2020, I have called and emailed and have gotten no reply. My appointment date was cancelled due to covid and their website say to call the embassy. How can i call someone that doesn't pick up?? I need to renew my passport inorder for me to be able to work. I am pleading with everyone online please how do i get to the embassy to book an appointment! please help
I drove 5 hours to reach this embassy. Lined up at 9 for my 9:15 appointment, which I had to register for on a different website because times were never assigned and their instructions are unclear. The people in charge were disgustingly disorganized, ignored appointment times and just randomly admitted people after checking their papers. I was told I'd receive my passport 4 weeks later. It's been 2 months. I have no clue on the status of my passport. I had to pay for an ETC for my travel (not from this embassy thankfully). They don't answer calls or emails or have anywhere to look up my application. It's an absolute disgrace. Edit: My passport actually arrived 2 weeks after my flight but it doesn't change my opinion.
