Our daughter was referred to this location by our local dentist. We provided all of our demographic information, in addition to insurance information for consideration when scheduling. We received a phone call, less than 5 business days prior to the scheduled appointment advising on my voicemail \we do not accept your insurance \. Did you realize that before or after I provided this information to you via phone at the beginning of the month? I received a voice message advising that I could explore a self-pay option. I called the office to get clarity, was advised, \we don't accept your insurance but you can look into self-pay.\ I cancelled the appointment.

My daughter had oral surgery in May 2020. At her consult, she was told that she would need to pay 300 the day of surgery. On the morning of her surgery, 300 turned into 1810 for the up front payment. If we cancelled, there would also be a fee. She had the surgery which went fine. I had to call the office at least twice just to get them to send the claim to United Concordia. After they were paid by the insurance, we were due a refund. I had to call their office several times. We finally had to file a fraud complaint to the insurance company, which resulted in a letter being sent to the office, just to get a refund check. Even then, the refund check was 115 short. They claimed it was an OR supply charge that they conveniently didn't tell us about up front. So they still owe us money. Even though the doctor was fine, his billing staff is very shady and very dishonest. I would never recommend anyone go to this office. I would tell anyone who has had surgery here, please go back and look at what you paid versus what your insurance explanation of benefits says. They are banking on the fact that their tactics go unnoticed and become very upset when they are called out.

Dr. D'arco is and his team are amazing. I cracked my bottom right wisdom tooth and needed help. Being a middle school teacher my kids needed me back in the classroom and they made sure to get me in and taken care of ASAP. His bedside manner is great. I decided to just use a local anesthetic and Dr. D'arco had me at ease. I definitely recommend them! -Chris
