I have been going to Golden Slipper for lots of years and nothing but great results. One of my favorite successes has been the addition of Vibram hiking soles to my favorite pair of discontinued Tevas, which makes them the perfect summer walking and hiking sandal and water shoe! (alternated them with hiking boots when we hiked rim to rim in the Grand Canyon). They can save your old beautiful favorites, too!

Went into Golden Slipper with what I thought was an odd request re: a tweak to a new pair of shoes. Frankly, I’ve been putting this off as I was worried that any shoe repair place would just not want to do. Abel was no nonsense and instantly suggested several creative solutions for me and even turned the job in about 4 hours. I’ll be back, my boots are almost in need of new soles! Oh and there is a little parking lot just north if the shop.
Abel and his staff are amazing. If you need shoe and boot repair Abel is your man they have been in business for years and are a staple of the community.
I bought the cowboy boots back in '92, wore them out a few times,. Golden slipper fixed them. Fixed them so I can ride my motorcycle with them on. Wore out my motorcycle boots, don't have to buy new ones, Golden slipper fix them. Golden slippers save you money in the long run. Yeah these Boots are made for walking........, Check photos.
I am so much upset and disappointed for what was done to my handmade greek sandals, I just needed to move the clips a little bit, and they just left a hole! I wanted a sole prevention, and the cut it! I asked to make the strips smaller and they did not stick the sole!!! I came there 3 times, I they said they explained everything to me, but thats not true.
