NOT A REVIEW, JUST INFORMATION. GOOGLE MAPS SHOWS A DIRT ROAD FROM BAKER THAT GOES TO THE SITE. THIS IS A PRIVATE DRIVE AND NOT NOT NOT THE WAY TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE.. STAY ON THE HIGHWAY UNTIL THE PAVED ROAD.

Interesting history about the natives and how they lived but all the adobe remains have been baried to be protected. There was only one book onsite but this area doesn't get too many visitors at one time. There are 8 information spots along the path. Easy walking. Path is no longer than 500 or so feet.

Baker's archaeological site was okay. If you like walking and seeing different things then this is good for you. It was cold when I visited so we didn't do the walking tour.

Not much to see after this sign..

No brochures explaining the small ancient indigenous village. The views of the surrounding mountains is great

Takes some imagination to travel back in time to be with the Fremont Indians. Good place to stretch your legs.

Went in the middle of a hot summer day in Aug, so we didn't end up staying too long, also got a little mixed up on the self guided tour so that could have gone better. Wish I would have considered this spot for star gazing the night before, seems like an ideal place for that.

For enthusiasts only. Nice and shady picknick spot but the site is not really worth a visit. The information stand displays some background facts and a trail guide is available too.
