I often think that BSLC saved my life. After going through 8 years of public school, I felt convinced that I had no future and I was absolutely miserable. But my time here has completely transformed me, coming to accept myself, learning stress management techniques, critical thinking and social skills. BSLC really gave me a place to thrive as a person and for that I am truly and forever grateful.

This was the perfect landing spot for my daughter. Public school (brick and mortar or online) was not for us. Full time homeschooling wasn't possible either. My daughter needed Bay State to develop some anxiety-coping strategies, social skills, and be able to connect with a community of people. I love what they stand for and how they back a young person's mind. I am relived that she continues to stay connected even through this pandemic.
Our sons' lives have been immeasurably enhanced by attending BSLC. The oldest is now in college after two years at this wonderful learning center, and the youngest is currently at BSLC and is so happy and engaged in his own education. The classes BSLC offers, the mentorship kids receive, the friendships that they have there, all prepare kids for the future. Best of all are the positive changes we have seen in our kids. They talk with us! They laugh with us, they share their feelings, they are excited about the future, thanks in large part to the education they are receiving at BSLC. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people there \u003c3
BSLC has provided a wonderful experience for my teenager, who had found more conventional schools to be aversive.
