I don't know if this is due to covid, but I have never been to Beach vet or any other vet where I am not present during the dogs examination. They were both taken into a back room without me. In the past month I have been at 2 other vets offices with my neighbors and their dogs, and both of those offices still exam the dogs in front of us. Its hard to remember to ask all the pertinent questions when you are not present. I was given ample time with my vet after the dogs examinations for any questions I might have had but I do not like this change. I wound up having to call the office the following morning because the dogs were not even weighed in my presence and their weights were not on the invoice. Its hard to manage my dogs weight when I don't know if they have gained or lost weight over the past year. I also noticed I had been charged 25.25 for each dog for my yearly Manatee County tag...I am billed this by the county every year in December and it has already been paid. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days for this money to be credited back into my account. An extra 50. added on to a vet bill when you have 2 dogs is why people sometimes don't bring their pets in when they should. It is very expensive. I don't see these prices ever getting more affordable but they certainly shouldn't be adding county tag fees on bills without telling people when the county already bills us for these fees. Don't get me wrong, I am not intending to change veterinarians, I just wanted to explain why I was dissatisfied with my appointment this year.

Bring my both pups to visited the vet this morning. Both golden retriever. Getting a 3rd vaccine for mini and also wanna weight cooper. Cooper is a 6 months big boy little infection with his right ear I did told the doctor and she did a test on him. Everything looks perfect so far when I got my bill was 349.46 I got cooper 6 months simparica that was 149.81 coopers's ear solution was 21.15 and they charge me 56 dollars for no reason the paper shows “ office visit “ not well patient. It was so disappointed. Did pay for the exam and the solution where is that 56 comes from? Won’t be back again.

Awesome Vet Clinic! Professional and Curious Staff to deal with! Only Negative is this is the only Vet that doesn't keep your pet in the room with you! Kind of unnerving. But worth a try!

Best vet around! I would highly recommend taking your pets here. My husband and I drive 45 min to take our pups there because they are just so good!

I am so thankful I found Beach Vet, my dog was not feeling well and after a visit to the ER (where the vet did not listen to my concerns about my dog ) we weren’t seeing any improvements. After calling around with no luck getting an appointment until March! I called Beach Vet, I explained the situation and how my dog was in pain, they gave me an appointment ASAP! The staff is very kind and friendly, supper loving, and very understanding. Dr Nicole Corning is an awesome Vet I liked her right away, she listened to everything I had to say and she understands. She figured out what was wrong with my dog right away and proceeded to a treatment plan immediately, I can’t thank her enough! I live 40 min away but it is worth it! This place will be my dogs primary vet! Thank you all! I

Recently moved here from Atlanta, GA. I was very pleased at how professional the staff and doctors were in getting to know our dogs, review their past records/medical history and make recommendations. The facility also has a very good protocol in place for COVID. Looking forward to making Beach Vet Clinic the place we take our pets for years to come.
