I'm still going here and its pretty good school, people talking about the drugs are dumb because out of my 3 years here i haven't even encountered a single person who actually had a reason to be suspiciosous of. however the teachers aren't the best and they give to many homework packets and projects overlapping, as much as i like to say school sucks for the most part I've had a good time at beaver lake with all my friends. though if you just are moving here try to join the "cool" kids so you don't get picked on, otherwise they eat you like wolfs at the hunger games. just get some friends don't listen to what other idiotic people say and have fun, don't have a negative look have a positive look ;) well got to go finish a project and two packets.

I really liked this school. I have been reading the reviews and for all the people who are saying their children have been exposed to drugs and the flag thing. I hope they know that one got EXPELLED and the other got a suspension for the flags. Also, your child should have just thrown it away because it wasn't physical harm. With the drug stuff, I know one boy who has gotten better yet I hope parents know that there are some stupid children who have been exposed to these habits at a young age, possibly by their parents or a sibling or just a relative. Lastly, most of the teachers are very good. Mr. Ireland however I think he is a good PE teacher because he encourages students to be the best they can. I hope that the parents who say that their child came home crying or said what is going on at school, I hope you can understand that you are telling us the downside of the school. Every school has a downside.

I was a young Gorilla in the Cincinnati Zoo when one day my zookeeper, a violent scary man known as "He Who Killed Harambe", told me i was going to be sent to school at BLMS. He told me such wonderful things but when i got here i found something very different from what i expected. It turns out the school is a horrible place that discriminates against Pepe's and Gorillas alike. I was aghast at how horrible it was and almost 360 no-scoped myself in my depression. Until i met my savior. A young m̶e̶m̶e̶ singer named Jacob Sartorius. He saved me through the power of Doritos and Mountain Dew. Once i had conquered my fears i decided that I would make this school into a safe haven for all. A place were discrimination again gorillas would be no more. And through the power of The Holy Hand Grenade melted dem steel beams.

Worst school ever. Never send your kids to this school. Once, my son came home with an ISIS flag and a USSR flag. I can't believe something like this would happen. My son didn't deserve this, and if any of your children saw these flags, they didn't deserve it either and I'm sorry that people had to see them. Please share your stories about this incident.

Honestly not a bad school. Most of the teachers weren't as bad as other's made them out to be and genuinely cared for you. That being said, now that I'm no longer at the school nor will I be anywhere in a 100 mile radius I believe it's safe to say that this school treated their students more like high school juniors than 8th graders. Test every 1½ weeks, strict rules in classrooms, and lack of free will unless you want to get in trouble. The students are no better. There is a constant stream of profane words being said from 6th graders to 8th graders. The maturity level for these new kids seem to be reduced a whole grade level each year, and the staff is completely blind to that fact. The school tries to be fun at time by recruiting popular and "nice" ASB officers but in reality, them trying to modernize and connect with the kids only works for a small fraction of students and ultimately becomes an embarrassment. The amount of racism and hate at this school is overwhelming. Not the teachers, the students. When I said "profane" that also includes highly racist remarks and slurs, some targeted towards African Americans, but mostly towards Asians because there is a vast majority of them at this school. All in all, this school was bearable, but had some tough inconveniences at times.
