I love how upbeat the classes are - it really leaves you happy and energized. Caitlin is the best! She always makes me sweat and burn the most calories. I will admit some teachers give a more whole-body workout than others and some truly go with the beat while others don't. I like to ride in the rhythm of the song, so sometimes I don't follow instructors when they're not riding with the beat of the music. The instructor is key for a great class. If they can get the room going, you are all set. The dark room, the positive affirmations and the energetic feeling of the class can really make for an awesome 45 minutes. I think the instructors are good. They're helpful in getting bikes set up, checking people in, etc. The whole place is just spotless too. It is nice to have such a clean studio, bikes; and the scented cool lavender towels are amazing. They even offer cycling shoes free of charge. The price is really good compared to the other fancy cycling studios and you have the option of using your shoes or getting the cycling ones they have for free. I'm a fan and will continue being s loyal customer.

I love this place! Always a great workout - the lyft classes are challenging and fun and the spin classes really max out your oxygen intake. The classes are small and you quickly get to know everyone. Very friendly, professional and supportive staff. You need to be on time or you will get locked out but that is the price you pay for small, boutique workout experience.

They were very helpful helping me set up the bike, never once had an attitude. Kept checking on me was my first time. Erica the owner was sweet and responded to all my questions I was a little intimidated the first day. All the girls were nice.

Lyfe Cycle is walking distance to my apartment, so I was very happy when I found the place. I took advantage of the new member promotion where you get unlimited classes for two weeks for 30. I've had Kim, Caitlin, and Erica as instructors; I really need high levels of distraction when I'm doing these classes, and I think Caitlin is best at taking my mind off of the fact that I'm exercising. All of the instructors are incredibly nice and make me feel like they really want to get to know me. Unlike many of the indoor cycling facilities in downtown Boston, Lyfe Cycle is a no nonsense facility. You get your own clip in shoes (free, yay!), towels, and weights, go through the class, and wipe down your bike for the next class; all this for a cheaper class, which I am all for. The only downsides are that they don't do classes on Fridays and only have enough bikes for about 16 people per class (classes during peak hours fill up quickly). This will definitely be my regular indoor cycling spot; it's so close to me, I have no excuse.
