My mother was placed here temporarily after an unfortunate fall and needed rehab. Since then she has become a longterm resident. Sadly, due to COVID and the low weather temperatures, visitation is zero but they do have virtual visitation, which is cool when the patients participate. I go to drop off care packages for my mom and find the premises along the right side of the building filthy with heaps of garbage. It’s crazy with COVID wreaking havoc and cold right now, but the property needs to be maintained regularly. Overall rating is because although I appreciate that I am kept informed of what’s happening with my mom, sometimes security / front desk can be super rude and I am unsure where it is coming from. Also, food quality is apparently not prepared for each resident’s needs. Asked for kosher meals to be served but pork seems to be served a lot to my mom and she refuses to eat it. She really should not be fed this due to her many health issues. Her nutrition and rest are more important than ever with COVID rampant in New York. And the garbage on the side of the building is located where residents probably would hang out if COVID were under control. Not able to give much more since my experience is limited because of no visitation policy to keep staff and residents safe.

My father passed away in this nursing home and for two days I have been trying to get in contact with administration to coordinate his arrangement and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! The receptionist is completely unhelpful and when I asked her who the manager is, she suddenly told me she could not remember the persons name. This isn’t the first time I have had to call there for information. I do not live anywhere near this place and it’s ridiculous that no one is considerate enough to return a phone to help the ones that are left behind. If they do not respond to me I will be left with no choice but to contact the attorney general. My father is sitting in limbo for three days now and I am trying to contact people whom you would think would be helpful after the passing of your family member!!! It is truly ridiculous!

My mom suffered a pulmonary embolism From a foot surgery. So it was required for her to be placed in a rehabilitation center short-term. We decided to put her in the Linden Rehabilitation Center because it was an easy travel to get to. This place is perfect ! Everything my mother needed they had! Every last single staff worker was very nice & extremely helpful! Her physical therapist Mr. Ed & OT Renita really worked very well with her. They did not overworked her & the same time they made her stronger each day! They made her workout very fun ! All the nurses, doctors, physicians made my mother feel extremely comfortable! She came in there on a stretcher with an oxygen tank & she just walked out on her own healthier than ever! I highly recommend this place to anyone! The staff was very helpful and the housekeepers keep everything super clean! If I could add more stars, I would! Thank you for making my mother better!
