The beef is okay, but nothing to write home about. It's outrageously overpriced. They charge nine dollars a pound for tough, low quality roast, which is what you can pay for USDA Choice steak. Speaking of USDA, their meat isn't graded. It is inspected, but that means nothing more than it's fit for human consumption. It may be nice for the cows to wander around eating grass, but I don't recommend anyone buy it for the quality of the beef. If you are concerned with animal treatment, just eat less meat. BTW, for people who don't understand beef quality, it's supposed to be fatty. That's called marbling, and the more of it there is, the higher the grade. USDA Prime has the most marbling. The fat makes the beef more juicy. The lowest grade (Select) has the least amount of fat. As for tenderness, younger cattle are a better choice. The trouble with grass feeding is that it takes the animals longer to get fat, which makes the meat less tender. So cattle that are penned up and fed large amounts of grain create the highest quality beef. It may not be very humane, but that's just the way it is.

Instead of going out to celebrate our 32nd anniversary we picked up some absolutely delicious filets and grilled them. They are the most tender and flavorful steaks. Better & less expensive than any steak place.

Not as good the first time I purchased meat here. The second and third visit all my cuts had too much fat to justify paying 26 for a cut. Not sure if I would come back

Places like this are rare. Attention to quality and detail is king here, grass fed goodness. Its pricey but being a business owner I get it. It takes money to do this kind of quality as a small business.
