What I don't understand is why there is a processing fee to pay with a credit card? You are giving them more money to accept your payment. it's ridiculous there is no reason for this, it's a money racket.

Not one person after 3 days and 6 people could tell me why I was sent a bill for a car/tag taxes in 2011 that I never owned. I never received any bill or anything before today 9/25/2018! They sent me on a wild goose chase, telling me go to the DMV they sent the bill not us! WRONG! DMV said they have no clue why they would send me there. They dont have anything to do with taxes. Then they say go to the tag office which told me. Yes this tag was issued and never turned in, but now wont give me any of my own information after it being used & stolen by an individual so many times that I cant prove my identity with my Driver's license. Then after another call, and 3 other people I was told this \well i don't know what to tell you to do or where to go Raleigh says you owe it and it wont go away until you pay it\ I then was asked to be connected to the tax collector who mailed me this garnishment of my wages and was hung up on. I tried three more time to call the \collector\ and received her voicemail. Left messages and no return call. To top all that off I received this \bill\ on Friday Sept 09/20/18, she dated this for 09/17/18 & it says I have 10 days to contest, well WRONG. If I got it on Friday, & Sat/Sun are not working business days then really I only have 5 days, tomorrow being my last day to do so. And since no one answers nor returns phone calls, or responds to the email I've sent then where does that leave me. UP THE CREEK & NOBODY CARES! UNPROFESSIONAL AND CERTAINLY HAS NONE OF THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE/ TRAINING TO THEIR OWN OFFICES OR JOBS if that's the response I've gotten after the many calls and goose chases I was sent on. #burkecountysfinestforsure
