I came to the States from Taiwan at the age of 5, but never had the chance to properly learn Chinese. I started with Byron when I was 54. Not only have I learned to speak and write (both simplified and traditional script) Chinese, his knowledge of Chinese culture and art have also given me back my heritage. He uses individual teaching methods catered to each student's background, skills, and purpose. He incorporates the Chinese culture and art into the lessons, and makes it a living language for me. I recommend him unequivocally.
