My daughter has been working with Luke as she navigates her Mandarin classes in school and he has been wonderful to work with. He has an expert focus on tones which is largely lost with other Mandarin tutors. I have appreciated how he has always pushed my daughter forward. Luke is an excellent tutor and I highly recommend him for your Mandarin learning goals.

I have been getting lessons from Luke for about 6 months now and I highly recommend his classes no matter your current skill level. I have lived in China for several years while taking classes and I feel that I am progressing with Luke faster than with my previous teachers. His style works really well if you are an absolute beginner working on tones or a near fluent learner just trying to brush up. You can even do classes remotely which has been working out really well for me!

Luke is a fantastic language instructor. Learning Chinese with him is fun and motivating. His learning style is tailored specifically to the acknowledgements of your strengths, weaknesses, and goals. He made sure to push me out of my comfort zone if I fell behind in a key area, which is vital for learning. I'm incredibly thankful for him.
