one of the best locations on the Rock for riverside, primitive camping and access to the Rock River. the hosts are friendly and professional. loud groups are discouraged so its a great place for families and groups. go see it!!
Great place to fishing and completely relax from the city. A lot of space between tents which makes feel privacy. The owner is nice sweet lady with super polite attitude. Beautiful nature around you, trees ,river and birds. We visited this place for the first time, but we are planning to spend there another few weekends while it's warm. This is not a place for people who is looking for hotel service, this place is for people who is romantic and loving nature, fishing and quite place. Thank you

Best camping site close to Chicago! This is my favorite place for summer weekends. Owners are always friendly and helpful, the camping area is well maintained, plenty of trees, fishing is great and there’s a lot of space between campers(which is great). This is a dog friendly place and our beagle loves it there. It is a pretty quiet, private place, they have firewood, clean toilets and running water. They also have tents and will have everything set up for you which is very nice! I couldn’t say which spot is the best on the islands because no matter where you set up your tent the view is going to be great!
