Dr. Mauricio Melhado is an amazing cardiologist. I've lived in Lake Worth for the past eight years and consider myself so lucky to have found a Cardiologist like Dr. Melhado. All I can say is that he is like a breath of fresh air . He is a man who listens to what you are telling him. He talks to you and not at you. His compassion for his patients truly goes unrivaled.

Dr. Melhado is one of those truly kind individuals that you rarely meet. His staff was friendly, caring and responsive. I highly recommend him.

The doctor is very good but his ft desk check in clerk ( a short young woman with red pony tail and glasses) is very rude and unprofessional. Her demeanor makes you feel unwelcome. I read previous posts and seems is her normal motto. Dr Melhado should take care of that. The rest of the staff is very friendly.

The young with the ombré hair as a nasty attitude and in her mind she thinks she very professional, i requested to speak with the office manager and I was told that she wasn’t there and no when will she be back, no you can call later nothing. She also sets a double standard for a particular race of people.

The worst cardiologist on earth, this horrible man (I would not even call him a doctor) tried to make me do an examination that wasn’t needed for my situation because he will get paid for it by the insurance. when I refused to do it, he literally told me in the middle of his office I could die any minute if I don’t do this expensive test. I have a witness that heard everything he said. here I am five years later Still alive and my new cardiologist tells me that I have a perfect heart.
