All 3 of my dogs go here. My dog Kofi has bad anxiety and nippy. Both the nurse & vet took time and had patience with him & he ended up doing just fine! After a little love and pets he was good to go. Gave me all my answers and really did care for our situation. Love this place

Caring Hearts is overbooked and understaffed will simply rush you in and out the door. We lost our little 3yr old doggie after bringing her to Caring Hearts. They didn't take her seizures seriously and rushed us out the door with a prescript, when she actually needed emergency neurological care. Nothing 'caring' about Caring Hearts in my opinion. If your pets need anything more than routine care, for your pets sake bring them somewhere else...

Dr. Schafer has cared for our animals -- and been a part of our family -- for about a decade. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I trust her with the most important pieces of my heart -- my fur babies! (Give me a break, I don't have human kids! haha) Seriously though, she has helped me make some hard decisions, operated on one of my dogs who had two different types of cancer (and who has an incredible quality of life now), and cared for my dogs and cats like they were her own. She is an excellent vet and A plus human! The rest of the staff at caring hearts are also wonderful! They truly care about the important work they do and we are grateful to them as well!

My dog and I challenged this place hard. She was in high anxiety before entering, which took me by surprise. Because we were there for a hind quarter injury I got scared of her falling on the slippery floors. Once in a room I could bring her down enough to go through with the exam. The Dr. Was thorough, gave me options and his asked for opinion. I was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to educate me. The staff tried to be helpful, but it seemed behaviour of a frightened, reactive, anxious dog is left to owners alone. I get it, but I do miss an office that has someone trained in reactive dog techniques. I got a lot of weird looks when I asked my dog to blink. But there are a few out there who understand. thanks Leslie. UPDATE: So after a drop off for X-rays, the techs and Dr. were open to trying X-rays without anaesthesia on a trained but very anxious dog and managed it well. I hope this becomes our vet home and her skills can be utilized fully once trust is built. Training a dog for the vets office and behavioural skills in a vets office is very underrated and I commend this office for being open to it.

We have had all 3 of our animals to Caring Hearts at one time or another. They are so wonderful and truly care about you and your pet. I think the name of the business is absolutely perfect for all the vets and techs in the facility. They truly all have Caring Hearts for you best 4 footed friend!!
