I had one of the best seafood experiences of my life tonight. Following the suggestion of my friend, Dr. Gold, we went to The Catch in Paso Robles on the plaza. We requested seats at the bar so we could watch the chefs do their magic. The owner of the catch, Chico, introduced himself and asked us what we would like. First of all he brought us a bottle of Cabernet and said \ try this and if you don't like it I will get you something different.\ The wine was excellent. I told them that I like calamari but my wife was not a big fan so he said that we could get a half order. The half order of calamari was the best I've ever had in my life! I then asked Chico what his favorite items were of the three that I pointed to. I said that I might think spicy and he said don't worry I've got this. When the food arrived, my wife's shrimp fettuccine looked amazing and low and behold Chico brought me an order of shrimp and scallop pasta and a half order of the cioppino. Not only were our entrees served hot and fresh but they all three were amazing! Please take my advice and go to \The Catch\ the next time you're in Paso Robles. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing! Mmmm... Really one of the best seafood in the area. Clamp chowder is awesome. Delicious salads. Friendly staff and perfect location in the center of Paso Robles. I highly recommend to give a try to this wonderful place and you will be enchanted by the atmosphere of friendship and care. They have heaters to keep you warm for outside dining. I am in the area for 3 days... and I will be my place of choice for dinner.
This was a great place to have a dinner with the family when they had dining. The Sea Bass was excellent, as well as the lamb and steak. We tried Escargot for the first time and it was pretty tasty! They had a very nice selection of wines with some locals. Loved the staff & cozy atmosphere. I would definitely like to eat here again!!
It has been years since we dined at Catch with Chico. To this day we recall the greeting Chico offered each visit, “How are you? You good!”. Always with a warm smile and caring focus. When things get tough, we remember Chico’s words, smile and passion for well prepared food enjoyed with new friends. Simply outstanding memories and dining experiences. With grateful heart.
My husband and I live in the valley but each time we make our way to Paso Robles we have dinner at The Catch. Its our absolute favorite! The food is amazing!! The calamari steak is so delicious, and the Chilean sea bass is spectacular. I cannot forget to mention the Chef and his wonderful staff! They are simply AMAZING!!!
