I have lived at Cedarfield for three years... probably one of the best decisions I ever made.. As a single woman after 53 years of marriage, I’m enjoying a life very similar to life on a cruise ship but without sea sickness or cramped living quarters! Activities and services of every kind are provided and the meals are really 4-star! My children know that I am safe and really enjoying life.... they tell me that I have given them the best gift ever!

Nice folks and an amazing facility. Walking around it feels more like a resort than retirement place. I was incredibly impressed by everything after taking a tour a few months back. The amenities, the food and man, oh, man that pool is opulent! I highly recommend Cedarfield for anyone looking for Independent Living options.

I have had two generations of family members living at Cedarfield---the legacy of excellence has always been and continues to be the cornerstone of this community. Cedarfield's Master Planned Expansion is exceptional. New Pathways to Wellness Building and New restaurants offer residents great amenities. More importantly, team members who operate these services truly care about the residents.

My parents have been at Cedarfield for over 10 years. Since leaving the United Methodist Homes Group the care, service, food and responsiveness by management has plummeted at Cedarfield. This has been most notable during the recent Covid-19 crisis. Cedarfield is charging residents 20% for the delivery of groceries while not offering any rebate services not received like housekeeping. My parents are no longer getting the quality of services and care they contracted for when they first came under the United Methodist Homes umbrella. Please consider newer posts before considering Cedarfield or you may be stuck like them. It is very hard to watch them not get what they were promised for their hard earned dollars. I know for a fact Lakewood Manor is providing their independent living community 3 meals a day while they cannot leave campus because of Covid-19. Cedarfield is only providing 1 meal per day, charging the outrageous 20% for shopping and allowing residents to leave campus and return with no quarantine measures in place upon their return. I certainly hope the home company will take a look at changing the management as the staff is now also a revolving door so they must be ill-treating staff as well. Several of the favorite staff members of the residents have left or been fired. All-in-all it makes the atmosphere at Cedarfield these days quite unhappy for one and all and as anyone in business knows \the fish rots from the head down.
