Definitely the speed of the passport emission has improved, why is it necessary to make an appointment? When they don’t follow that? People just come and go. And in order to get a passport you have to bring 60 exactly because they can’t provide change??? And they don’t inform that a copy of the old passport is needed.

The gard is very rude!!! It is snowing and very cold outside, but she doesn't let anyone make a lane, even though we told her we drove for 5 and 1/2 hours she still sent us out of the building and didn't let us wait outside either!

They will not answer the phone! We finally called the Salvadorean consulate in New Jersey, and they forced the Chicago consulate to answer our calls The Jersey consulate also told us that the Chicago consulate was closing earlier than they were supposed to If you have to go here, you have my full sympathy and support. This place is the epitome of slow, dysfunctional bureaucracy.
