Would normally give a higher rating, cmoe is such a fun place in non pandemic times! They are currently only letting in a small number of people in two hour incriments, they have each exhibit zoned and only one family allowed per zone, and while technically almost all exhibits are currently open, a lot of the toys or art supplies or stuff that normally is in each exhibit is not there, making it a little disappointing. I completely understand the reasoning behind it though, it would be near impossible to sanitize all that stuff between groups. I feel like they should at least have a discounted rate at the moment if not everything that is normally there is accessible. Maybe it's my fault for not checking current reviews before I got tickets. Make no mistake though I do normally enjoy taking my kids here during normal times and will most likely be back. Just wanted to give an up to date review!

Oh my goodness this museum was a BIG waste of time and money. I took my 9 and 10 grandchildren today. It was so HOT inside the building \82\. I would say that 80% of the museum was closed. The only hands on available for the kids was pencil and paper. We only stayed about 20 minutes. If the exhibits were open I would still only take children under 6 years old.

Had so much fun we didn't even make it to the third floor. Will definitely go back

Considering the arrangements everyone has had to make for covid, this was still great. I can only imagine what it must be like when bustling with visitors. Kind of reminds me of The Magic House in St.Louis.

I'd call this a giant playground as opposed to a \museum\ However, the kids enjoy it every time so that's the main thing. Only reason I couldn't give five stars is because one of the kids' favorite \attractions\ (the vacuum that sends balls from the basement wet deck back upstairs) was broken. Also, the wet deck (and the kids' shoes once we left) smelled of seafood/fish, so a hint of chlorine in that water would do wonders.
