All the staff has taken their time to insure we had all the information we needed and they made moving an easy transition. The communication between the staff and myself if great. My MIL is doing much better in this social environment than at home. She was reluctant because she isn't a very social person. The other residents pulled her into the group and she is participating without complaining - lol. Thanks to Pearlie for her great assistance with moving. Kendra has been a blessing with information and communication.

Moved my mom here in September. She loves it! Pearlie and the entire staff was such a help getting all the paper work done to get mom moved. So many activities in the Memory Care unit to keep mom busy. Thank you Clayton Oaks for making mom feel so welcomed.
Don't make the heartbreaking mistake we made. If you are looking for a place for your Mom or Dad, focus on the care, not the look of the place. We have major regrets about putting our father here and we do NOT recommend. It appears clean and nice, but your parent will not be well cared for! The staff is poorly trained, and changes every day because of high turnover. They allow unqualified people to administer medicine and there have been many medication mistakes! Their call button service does not work well so residents in Assisted Living have to wait a very long time for help. In Memory Care, it is much worse. Residents are left alone, lying in bed in dirty clothes with bed sores that won't heal. They are missing meals, and not being bathed. If you complain, they tell you to hire an additional private caregiver. Many residents have fallen and broken bones. Nobody is checking on them! And the staff has no empathy for them. Family members install cameras in the rooms, and have watched helplessly as their parent lied in bed neglected and alone. Clayton Oaks had a serious COVID outbreak. At least nine residents tested positive, and many staff members. This has been a painful experience and I would like to worn others. BEWARE. I will regret putting my Dad here for the rest of my life.
Very friendly place for my mother. Pearlie went above and beyond to help make this move happen during these trying times. My mother has only been there for a short time but she is very happy there. The whole staff is very accommodating and friendly but I have to put in another good word for Pearlie. She's my hero.
Clayton Oaks delivered the peaceful, caring and beautiful environment we were looking for when we could no longer care for Dad at home. Clayton Oaks was welcoming and we have enjoyed many family visits and activities there in the past. The Clayton Oaks team ensured Dad felt comfortable in his new home and continually encouraged him to participate in activities.
