I visited this church while staying with one of their congregation, who helped me with and after surgery. The sermons were uplifting, easy to understand and Pastor Jeff and his whole congregation were most welcoming and caring. If you live in this area, I would highly recommend that you visit a service and make Clear River your home church

Clear River Community Church comes more easily under the heading of extended family than just a church. Whether a visitor or long-standing member, one is immediately enfolded into this trusting, sincere group of people who are passionate about loving each other as they learn and experience God's presence. The pastor, Jeff Ling, is the definitive expression of a loving shepherd who exudes God's compassion and mercy while he travels with us on this wonderful path of knowing God deeper. Pastor Jeff's knowledge of scripture and his sensitivity to God's voice gives him the leadership qualities crucial to helping all who attend this church to navigate their way through these tumultuous times. This church is small enough to feel attentively guided into a personal connection with Jesus Christ, though large enough to feel the excitement of corporate worship every Sunday morning. The music is inspiring and enthusiastic; it not only focuses on honoring and worshiping the Lord, but it motivates one to continue that worship throughout the rest of the week. The children are learning, the teens are learning, the adults are learning and solidifying their relationship to the Lord, and ALL are experiencing the presence of God in their lives. This church is special and unique in that it satisfies the longing that we innately have to know God more and more.

When we first started attending Clear River, our intention was not to make this our home church. We lived almost an hour away, so it didn't seem like a practical move. Well, that was almost 9 years ago, and Clear River has undoubtedly become our home church. The impression that we got from our very first visit still remains true today. This is a place where the Truth is taught and not watered-down. Visitors are seen and welcomed. The little children, the elderly, and everyone in between are valued.

I love Clear River's small family feel. There's nothing better than having those older and younger than myself helping me along in my faith walk. While people at Clear River serve the Lord in many different ways, they take the time to support each other and include others in what they're doing. Anyone who comes will feel truly welcome!

For the past 19 years we have traversed three counties, driving 56 miles every Sunday to attend Clear River Community Church. Why, you ask? At Clear River, we are refreshed by authentic, dynamic worship and an anointed presentation of God’s Word from our beloved Pastor. There we find a family, people who pray for one another, who carry one another’s burdens and seek to grow into the people God has called us to be. We are not alone in our journey to seek Jesus in a distant place. There are others who travel further than us. Why? Because it is the best church any of us have ever been a part of, where the Lord is present, changing us from one degree of glory to another. And there is nothing more we could ask.
