I came here with my family for my birthday and enjoyed every bit of it. Food, and the service was great!! The view was so beautiful too! It was the cherry on top

Huge disappointment! The down stairs staff seem disconnected from the customer experience and in slow motion even when notified of our upstairs reservation. Once moving upstairs the breath taking view continued and the servers attending was fantastic but, that's where it ends. The draft options are big disappointment but the food was the biggest disappointment of them all. The seafood pasta was a total let down and didn't live up to 'you get what you pay for' status. The burger was filling but far from special. FInally, the sweet treat after dinner options are lack luster at best. Over all, I'm unimpressed with everything the cliff house had to offer other then a pleasant server and gorgeous virtues of Tacoma.
Having lived here over 35 years, I'm still trying to figure out how I had never heard of this place until just a couple weeks ago. The food is great. The service is friendly. And the views are stunning.
Enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends at the Cliff House. Greeted at the door with our reservation and table ready. Fantastic service, drinks and meals. Great portions for the appetizers and main courses which didn't leave a tone of room for dessert . Thanks Cliff house for a lovely evening!
We always look for a new place to try and came across Cliff House. Called and made a reservation for same night being there is 5 or 6 of us all the time. We got in quick. Great service, great food, we enjoyed our time as a family.
If you love old Hollywood ambiance, you will love this place. Dining room is upstairs and the bar is downstairs...Wood paneling everywhere and a beautiful view of Tacoma. Came here on a sunny Sunday at 3pm and had the whole place to ourselves. Food and drinks were delicious. Classy place and super fun that it's just there in the neighborhood, not surrounded by anything but homes.
Wonderful experience. The employees were extremely helpful including the chef. Food was presented great, and the taste was very good. The view was very relaxing and beautiful. Especially Mt. Rainer was showing her glory.
Beautiful views,decor and food. This building is rich in history with decor and taste to match. I'd say this an overall Tacoma must its an excellent venue, restaurant and bar with outside seating. Did I mention the views!
