I came here for my first haircut in DC and am definitely making it my regular salon. Ms. Gladys is wonderful, and everyone on the staff is both professional and kind. After my haircut Ms. Gladys gave me some great haircare advice and my hair is softer now than it has been in years. I’m a very happy customer. :)

Gladys did an amazing job!! I usually pay 70 plus tip for haircuts and this was 55 with tip. She knows exactly what she is doing and is attentive and kind. The salon is clean and there was no one else there when I went. Great availability, and she gives you a mask if you wear a fabric one do it doesn’t get wet! I will be back for sure!
I visited this place for the first time to get blonde hair. I showed the owner the exact color I wanted. She was friendly and nice however she did not give me the color I asked for. Instead I walked out with different colors and patches of dark on the back of my hair. I spent several hours at the salon and she knew she hadn’t done a good job so she asked me to come back which I did hoping she would fix it next time. I went back the following week and I still didn’t get blonde hair. I have no idea why she couldn’t put on the color I requested but I’ve never had this happen to me before. Now my color is a light brown she stated that after washing it about two times it’ll get lighter. Not to mention the amount she charged for something I didn’t ask for it was ridiculous and upsetting. After so many chemicals she put on my hair is now damaged and I’m very disappointed for going to this place.
Gladys did a really wonderful job and provided a safe, clean, low volume environment, and even gave me a new mask upon leaving. My cut was 40 and was better than the last 70 haircut I got across town. Gem of a human.
