Russ was so amazing. Unfortunately we had to bring our wonderful dog Penny to get cremated. He helped so much with the process and made everything easy and as comfortable as he could. He gave us extra pictures and even gave my mom this wonderful poem he had hanging in the room that she loved! I will not go anywhere else from now on. He treated us like we were family! A long time ago I picked up one of your brochures. I can’t remember when or where, I’m thinking it was at a home show or a craft show? I kept that brochure tucked safely away hoping that day would never come. Unfortunately that day did come… March 21st, 2021 we had to say good-bye to our little girl Winnie. My husband called Sunday morning at 9:00 and they scheduled our appointment for 11:30. The hour drive to St. Cloud was filled with lots of tears as I held my baby in the car knowing it would be her last ride. The minute we arrived I wanted to run, but I knew I had to be strong. Marc was amazing the moment we got there. He was patient, empathetic and genuinely caring. The room where we said “see you later” had beautiful music playing, a candle burning and was warm and cozy. I knew right then and there, this place was the right decision. We placed our girl on a soft dog bed, not a stainless steel table. We were given all the time we wanted to say our good-byes. The vet then came in and explained everything that he was doing and our baby did not suffer at all. Afterwards we were left to hug and kiss our girl one last time. Marc said he would take special care of our baby and have her back to us in a couple hours. The phone rang not even 2 hours later and we were headed back to pick her up. Winnie’s ashes were in a beautiful carved box along with her collar. I felt at peace knowing that I was picking up MY dog and not random others. We received a beautiful picture, a lock of Winnie's fur and her paw print. On top of that we were given some lotion, a poster and some ‘forget me not's’ to plant. March 21, 2021 was truly the hardest day my husband and I have ever experienced, but because of you, we made it. I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for not only taking care of Winnie but for taking care of us as well. I lost my service dog, Keeper Safe, and found Companions Forever to come get him. The comfort I received from Mark was so warm and great that losing Keeper was a little easier. I highly recommend Companions if you ever lose your best friend. Keeper was by my side 24/7 and was my best friend for 12 years. I held him in my arms during his last moments. He's very missed. Besides being my best friend, he was my service dog (we trained ourselves) The loss is so hard to handle, but the encouraging words and "waiting at the door" poem from Mark made the pain ease a little. Our cat Ashley was 23 years old, so it was expected, but she suddenly passed away at 6pm. I called, & we were able to bring her in that night. Super understanding, & provided everything we needed to give our last goodbyes. I was told that her ashes should be ready by about the next day, so amazing turnaround time, too. The whole experience felt personal & caring, so definitely recommend.

Marc assisted us with cremation arrangements for our cat Mollie. Mollie died at home. Marc picked her up in a wicker basket with blankets in it. We could spend more time with her if we wanted to after he came to the house. Mollie was treated respectfully. We got her ashes back the next day, which was very comforting. We would recommend Companions to anyone who would like to have their pet cremated.

Amazing service from the gentlemen at Companions Forever. I don’t usually do reviews, but these guys deserve 10 stars. My mom’s cat passed away later in the evening and I sent a text to Companions Forever after 10pm and immediately got a response. Everything was set up for first thing in the morning and our cat was ready to come home before lunchtime the same day. These guys go out of their way to give you a very personalized and special, comforting experience. Highly recommend and thank you so much!
