Not helpful whatsoever. I called to enquire whether or not it would even be possible for me to get approved for a student visa if I didn't have at least a two-year degree from an American college already. Not whether or not I'd get accepted to the school itself. Just the visa. And I got a very rude woman who yelled at me for 10 minutes that this was the very last call I should make. I just wanted to know if I'd even have a shot at a visa before I paid the 1,500 application fee for the school only to get shot down because I don't have a 2yr degree.

Wanted to stop and say thank you for the great and quick help I got in the consulate. I see the reviews here and I don’t understand what people are talking about. I applied for a student Visa and two great ladies from the visa department really helped me through it all. If you come prepared with all the documents it should al go smooth and fast. Make sure to bring all the documents copied twice, you will need it. Also, bring two copies of your passport, remember to bring the 55 dollar fee in cash (exact amount). Thank you for such a fast and easy process to the consulate.
