I'm not saying the school is perfect, but Corner Lake isn't a bad place. Of course there's inappropriate behavior from the students, but what do you expect? It is a middle school after all. The teachers are incredible and the band program is stellar. (Mostly because of its awesome director) The school schedule is very organized and the campus is beautiful. I do have a few problems with the school, however. I feel that administration is targeting the wrong issues when they try to help our school improve, and communication between staff and parents is weak. This results in the well-behaved kids being punished for issues that only a few students have. (For example, no colored water bottles allowed on campus) Important information is shared on morning announcements, which a lot of people don't have access to. Bathrooms are not looked after nearly as much as they should be. School restrooms can go for days without soap and paper towel supplies being checked on. Although the staff is working hard to get us an \A\ rating this year, those are the things they should work on.

As a former student of Corner Lake Middle School, I had quite the experience here... both good and bad. Let me point this out first, the students. I made quite a bunch of friends but some other students there can be rude. The majority of the children at this school, I know of, are having issues like bullying. I've never expected so many fights in one day... Sure, this school was fun and all but, things need to be changed. For example, the scenery of the school, it's a bit messy but it's often the students fault for the mess. There were great perks about this school and it has taught me to be brave, independent, trustworthy, caring, and helpful. No school is perfect. In conclusion, this school is mediocre...

Jeeps are fun

The school is good but not great there are less fights i know that for experience because i used to go to that school and my friends go to it the principal is doing his job the staff is doing there jobs the pass teacher is awesome he does his job the best out of the teachers. For all u haters how about you go to the school and see for yourselves i love that school they need to clean the bathrooms more often.

Teachers don't help the kids.... bullying is real bad there and no one there cares..... if a teacher doesn't like your child YOUR child will never get anywhere no matter how much your child tries..... the worst part is for 2 years I would get phone calls 3 to 4 a day I have literally done the dean's work for them the worst school ever needs a whole new staff and some teachers there are a few teachers that actually will do whatever it takes for your student to help them I couldn't be more happier as a mother and doing that schools job everyday that my daughter is finally out of that school

Bad experience. Here we go: 1. Disgusting 2. Horrible Kids 3. Animals (Bees, cockaroaches, wasps) 4. Mushrooms 5. \SELF DEFENSE\ Let me elaborate on this one. If someone is hurting you, you can't hurt them back. Sounds like a good idea, right? WRONG! Smoking used to be a \good idea\ too. If somebody has backed you into a corner, you can't do anything. Because if you do, they will probably expel you, or suspend you.
