Short on Nurses and the ones they have spend more time visiting or on the computer then tending to the patients. Very disappointed with the attitudes as well. They seem almost like they are there because they HAVE to be there and do the MINIMUM, because they don’t get paid enough to do more. I realize everything is a process and paperwork/protocols have to be followed, but there is a certain “desensitized” manner. I know they see tragedy on a regular basis, but those who come to the ER and admitted to the hospital are scared and don’t know what to do or what to expect. The hospital doctors are no better. You get a great deal of “possibilities” of what “could” be wrong, but very seldom a defentatvie answer/diagnosis. I know some things are not cut and dried, but at least acting like you care would be a start. This whole system needs to be redone/revamped. We need some top notch doctors, nurses and hospitals in this area BAD.
