I cannot say enough good about these guys and the service they provide. I've been traveling to Crested Butte since the late 80's and only in the last few trips have I had a problem with altitude sickness. The last trip I was so sick I had to leave altitude after less than 1 day. I found Crested Butte Oxygen Rental as our group was planning a return trip this last June, 2020. I called and explained my situation to Mark, he explained what the service was and how it worked and we booked immediately. The oxygen concentrator was delivered spot on time, I used it as instructed and it worked beautifully. I was able to go on a mountain bike ride the next day after I arrived with no ill affects of altitude other than thin air. Not once on the trip did I ever feel even the mildest affects of the altitude, and bonus, slept like a baby every night. The machine is very quiet and will not disturb anyone else in the house. The only sound I heard was a slight burbling of the water container which I actually found quite soothing. I HIGHLY recommend Crested Butte Oxygen Rental to anyone who may suffer even the slightest symptoms fo altitude sickness. I will definitely make a reservation when I return this summer. Last note, my very athletic 17 year old goddaughter went for a long run after a mountain bike ride. Came home and was \kinda dizzy\. Set her up on the machine for 20 minutes and she felt great again. I had a great experience renting oxygen! I usually suffer from headaches and feel sluggish when Visiting Crested Butte but after sleeping with the oxygen I felt ready to go and get after it on the mountain. I would absolutely recommend renting oxygen to any friend or family!
Decided to try an oxygen rental service on a recent trip to Crested Butte as I had suffered in the past from altitude sickness. Didn't want to risk being miserable again and ruining another vacation for me and the family. Read the positive reviews for Crested Butte Oxygen Rental and moved ahead with the rental. Best decision I could have made and only wish I had thought about this before. I did not experience any of the symptoms I previously had in other trips, and felt great all week for the daytime activities like hiking and sightseeing. Best part was being able to sleep sound every night. Crested Butte Oxygen Rental made it easy by delivering the unit to the house we rented before we arrived, and picked it up after we departed. I can recommend them without reservation and would encourage fellow altitude sickness sufferers to consider taking this preventive step rather than spending the whole vacation worrying about getting sick when you can so easily avoid it.
