If you're looking for a physical practice to bring peace to your day to day life, jiu jitsu is a great answer to that. Further, if you decide that to be the case, Dark Horse is the place to do it. The community is warm and eclectic, and the instruction is top notch. This place has been a second home to me for years, and, I would recommend it to anyone. I hope to see you on the mats one day.

I'm not one to leave a really poor review for any businesses as I know how it is to receive a disappointing write up. However, there's a limitation of how much more one can endure when it comes to lack of communication and assistance. Every month, from April to now, August 27th , 2020, I have been calling this entity, leaving a voicemail each time, requesting termination of my membership. No calls received until July 29th. I talked to Brittany stating that they will look into deactivating my membership, and working with getting my July charges reversed. At this point, I did not even care about the monthly charges from April, May, June each month costing 286 total of 858. I was just happy I received a call back. I specifically asked that they delete my payment account and lo and behold, today, I see a pending charge of 159 on my card from Dark Horse BJJ. Right away, I left a voicemail to their office hoping that I will receive a call back. I am not holding my breathe on this anymore so I have opened a case with my bank to dispute. So for anyone who wants to sign up for their membership, make sure you have recorded all conversations and calls should you need to terminate your membership. The office will not call you back in a timely manner and come up with excuses as to why you haven' t heard from them for months.

Great teachers and very friendly training environment! I was on holidays coming from Australia and wanted to get some rolls in. They were very welcoming and the gym setup is great. If you're looking for a place to train or just to drop in, I highly recommend.

Great place to train. A little on the expensive side and not flexible on pricing especially for a person that travels frequently for work. Only other suggestion would be to do 1.5 hr sessions and not just 1 hr. You just retain more and can work what you learned more. Otherwise everyone staff and student was awesome. Just wish I could afford but hard to justify price when I can only make 2 weeks of he month.

My son trains here, I have seen a lot of changes in him during his time with Dark horse, the kids classes teach more than just jiu jitsu, they help to build confidence and respect in our young ones, it's a friendly atmosphere, and good healthy activity for kids and adults. I would highly recommend.
