Darrell was an outstanding realtor. I am active duty military and chose him to sell my rental property in Princeton, TX over other realtors in the area due to his confident tone and professionalism over the phone. Although I never met Darrell in person, he treated me like I was family. He took care of my tenant, who had rented from me for over a decade and who I was very close with, and always made sure he was informed of all visits from realtors wanting to show the property to contractors completing work. He has a robust network of contractors who he trusts and took care of all the scheduling due to me being in another state and having to work around my tenant's schedule. He never let the pandemic slow him down and he made himself available during and after work hours, his caring attitude was and is above reproach. Darryl was a fierce negotiator and always managed to fight back on unfair requests from the buyer and his agent. As he did often through the 3-months I worked with Darrell, he went above and beyond and helped my tenant find a new place to live because he was aware I, his client, cared and respected the man that took care of my property for 10 years. He did that out of the kindness of his heart. I highly recommend DMD Reality and Darrell Self for anyone looking to buy or sell in the DFW area. His experience and abilities are second to none.

Rubbed me the wrong way from the start. Told me to go find a place on Craigslist and watch for scammers because My dogs will not be excepted by MLS listings even though I've rented from MLS before with zero problems. I wont say not to use this guy because this is my personal experience with him.

Darrell was fantastic to work with while looking for a home to lease. He showed me homes from Frisco to Carrollton and Addison, even happily took be back for second looks. His communication is fabulous... nearly immediate response to calls, texts, emails. Also very good at keeping me up to date during the leasing process with the home owner. I would highly recommend Darrell !!!
