I'm a chiropractor who focuses on the energetic and intuitive aspect of healing, and was looking for a like-minded massage therapist who had that \healing touch\. Melissa is IT. My partner and I contacted Melissa for placenta encapsulation. She was awesome at communicating and able to work with our change in birth venue. Picked up the placenta Tuesday from BCH and was able to drop it off the next day with a lovely basket and print. My partner and I could not be more grateful!
Melissa has been my massage therapist for two years. She has helped me in my healing process with chronic pain. In short, I am grateful for her helping me get to a better feeling place with my body. I met Melissa last year. I was expecting my third baby and I decided to find a doula. I must say that it was the best experience of all of my hospital births! Mel was compassionate and knowledgeable throughout everything. I admit that though it wasn't our first baby, I was most anxious and even concerned this time around. Such a blessing to have her by our side to help labor go smoothly and well! My husband and I will always be grateful for Melissa being with us during a beautiful time in our lives.
Melissa was there at the home birth of my first baby back in April. I can't say enough wonderful things about her! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She has a very calming, unobtrusive presence and was a major asset at my birth. I had a long, drawn out labor and she showed up a full DAY before my midwife; she was a great labor companion, and brought/made lots of yummy snacks, and gave great back rubs! I truly feel my birth experience wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was without her there. Thanks Melissa!!!
