We are very impressed by Mark’s professional and creative approach in working with us on our art space. We are a nonprofit funded by public and private dollars so Mark and his team were able to not only work well within our budget, they also found us great recycled gym floors which gives us a great look and back story. The attention to detail, follow up and responsiveness given to our project has resulted in a beautiful new art center we are proud to open to artists in Queens. Highly recommended!

Mark’s reviews here are distorted. Travis is his employee whose measurements were incorrect and has given him 5 stars. Based on faulty measurements custom furniture was built that was (1) too tall and (2) covers sprinklers in my living room which is against DoB code. Mark promised to have a plumber relocate the sprinklers then balked at the 6,000 estimate, pretending he didn’t know “how it had happened”. Well (1) he doesn’t know the building code (in writing he claimed 3 not 18 inches were required) and (2) when I sent him his firms own measurements, that gave rise to the furniture being built to improper dimensions, he continued to play dumb. I hope google will investigate the fake reviews here that mislead people. Beware of the four 5 star reviews that magically popped up subsequent to my review.

We made a quick big move during covid and dtls couldn’t have been better!!!! We tried to source and shop on our own but we’re told by several places that it would be February or as late as APRIL before a lot of things would arrive; Mark was able to secure amazing pieces/finishes in the face of backorders and long lead times. I couldn’t be more happy when I come home these days- instead of a big empty space, we have an apartment with beautiful finishes and cozy pieces. Dtls has made this move/apt facelift so enjoyable- especially during such a distressing time.
