Giving two stars b/c Roger from the leasing team has been so helpful and awesome! However, not happy with the management by Greystar, especially for the price we are paying. Half the building has no electricity/heat due to the building’s carelessness. The exit sign was not turned on our half of the building, the garage door opened, hallway pitched dark. City of Austin has already done their part in restoring electricity to the whole building. But half of our building is still out d/t carelessness/poor planning. And this is not due to the winter storm, since this was probably an issue prior. Now at 3am, the main fire alarm is going off, and there is no one on site as we are struggling to go outside in this freezing temperature trying to figure out what is going on, decision between going outside in the freezing cold or a potential fire in the building. And of course the hallway is pitched dark as we are trying to “escape” the potential fire. Is this even safe?! So disappointing. The fire department is here trying to pick locks and figuring out how to get into the leasing office. No emergency maintenance onsite or no direct person to contact. Would think that there would be more thought out plan for the residents w/safety. Several weeks ago, our power was out as well NOT due to the storm. You would think that management will make sure everything is functioning properly considering now there is actually a winter storm. And we knew this was coming! And to top it off, the pandemic ! Very disappointing. Not to mention the intensely loud train where even my sleep tracker has picked up every single night at 3am, but that is minuscule compared to what happened this weekend. Would not recommend.

I’ve lived here for over a year now and have nothing but good things to say about management! They take care of the building very well and are super friendly. The reviews on here talk a lot about the train and as a pretty deep sleeper, I think it’s very doable, but I can understand if you are a light sleeper because you can feel the train as it goes by. Really great place to live all around though, amazing location and the amenities are fantastic!
My experience at E6 was mostly great. They were very timely in responding to work orders and they kept the common facilities very clean. My biggest complaint actually lies in the layout of the building. The pool is in a courtyard surrounded by apartments. So it only receives direct light for a few hours each day. Also, there are only two elevators in the whole building, and one of them is in the parking garage. It was incredibly inconvenient and time consuming to wait for that elevator, and I lived directly in front of it (I can't imagine how frustrating that was for anyone who lived on the opposite side of the building from the elevator). All that being said, the price of rent they charged for the amenities and layout were not worth it. You can find much nicer amenities and building layouts for the same price elsewhere.
Reaky bad at communications, i’ve asked multiple times to see the unit before moving in, not only that they were unresponsive but they obviously used this fact and give me the unit right next to the train tracks, The entire building shakes between 1:30 to 2o’clock at night every day, I totally understand now why they didn’t show me the unit before, total scam behavior! The leasing office did a poor job at showing and being honest about the unit. Most of the staff members barely have experience with residential customers. For the price I’m paying for my unit my experience with the front office has not matched my expectations at all! Less then 2 weeks in and already got attitude, and unprofessionalism behavior from the staff here. For now definitely not renewing my lease, and would recommend to triple check everything they say here.
I truly cannot say enough great things about this apartment. Luckily new management stepped in right as I was starting my lease and it has been absolute heaven since the day I moved in. Clarissa is amazing and always makes herself available if needed. I've never had such a great experience with apartment leasing until this year with E6 and I don't plan to move anytime soon. If you're looking at this building, I implore to rent here. You'll love it.
