I have known Eagle Brass for about 20 years. I have had nothing but satisfactory and above work done. Many of the items that were restored are still as they were when I picked them up. Friends have commented on this and I have recommended him to alot of them and they in turn have done the same to people that they know. I just recently had my door hardware restored and the quality of work is still the same. Fantastic !!
i had a old brass bed that was my moms restored..it took a little longer then what they said but it was very bad..i was very happy when they were done it looked new.amazing..great work worth the wait i would be happy to recomand them to any one
just web surfing today and came accross \Eagle Brass's\ web page and saw the one review posted. I have been a customer since !995 when they were located on Union Blvd in Islip. They have always up-front with advice and exteremely curtious and friendly to me and my family members. I have always been satisfied with their work as well and would recomend them to any and everyone. My experience with this company has been absolutely the WORST. Back in 05 I brought this place my families heirloom brass and crystal chandelier to do a complete restoration on it so my wife and I could hang it in our dining room for the family to enjoy for another 40-50 years. Well after a 7 month period of hearing nothing back and several attempts to contact the shop I finally happened to drive by when they were actually there......I went in and told the owner that my copy of the work order had been lost in a house move and I was very sorry, he then half heartedly looked for the chandelier and when he said he could not find it, nor could he find his original copy of the work order his whole demeanor changed, he got rude, and said I was a liar, he never heard of me and it goes on and on and on. Well after a filing with the BBB of NY and no joy from that some time passed, he folded up shop in Islip. I thought they were out of business so I just let it go. Well I came across them now in Bohemia, I inquired to see if they were the ones from Islip, they indeed were, I then NICELY reintroduced myself to them, and bagged for any information as to why this happened, I got attitude, threats of arrest for harassment and so on. They even threatened to tell my employer, which I had already done. I have begged and pleaded with this company to make right what is obviously SO wrong, I have consulted with a lawyer, contacted Channel 7 on your side, and re-filed a new complaint with the BBB of NY. I want to be clear on this, I offered to pay for all services rendered and what I got was a royal miscarriage of customer service. I would NOT recommend this business to ANYONE.
