Steal my mail and bank account information. Why The state of Ohio still here..

This place is a perfect example of what is wrong with the shelter system in NYC. Exists solely to make money, not mission driven in any way - Zero percent of the workforce acts like they want to be here and there is ZERO accountability for even the most basic things. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that in a place where few seem to take showers there is no soap, shampoo, or towels for clients to maintain a MOST BASIC sense of dignity. Ask why this is (being codified in law as something shelters are REQUIRED to provide clients) and the staff just shake their empty heads. I could think of better ways for the city to spend this money, turning it into compost for one, or perhaps building actual affordable housing. A future in which NYC relies on flaccidly inept Homeless Solutions like those provided by this shelter is a grim future indeed for those unlucky enough to end up being in the charge of these retards.

This transitional housing complex, has the same problems as any other shelter. There are clients here who should be housed in a mental health facility. Extremely loud at night, very hard to get any sleep. Security is understaffed, but they do the best they can. Kitchen staff works hard to make sure we eat a hearty meal.
