Not a good business bank. Doing a purchase on a property was impossible. Took way too long to get back to you and almost lost property because of their slow pace. Over 2 months and not even a rate or answer. Thankfully a different lender came through. I have also had multiple issues with personal account as well.

Horrible bank worst customer service. Taking my business elsewhere. The smug tellers that lack professionalism. No consistency in their rules.....if the ecognize you\ through the drive through they will provide you with your deposit info (from that day) but it they don't ecognize you\ they give you a hard time and attitude. Bad attitudes here and supremely unprofessional. Stay away!

In the years since we first acquired Fox River Tire & Auto, he has consistently gone above and beyond to serve and support our family and our business. I can't imagine that we would be where we are today without his support and the partnership of the team at Elgin State Bank team. Small town sensibilities and old fashioned service coupled with the professionalism and capacity of a national bank. The best of both worlds!
