I went with my church this is a great area to work on progects and to utilize the skills of other willing builders and even to learn and socialize.

Excellent value, low member fees, wide variety of tools, and friendly knowledgeable members and people! Stop by for free open hack night Tuesday's & Friday's 6pm to 9pm and check it out!

Terrific place. Makerspaces, for those unaware, are something like a community workshop: access to tools, a place to work on do-it-yourself projects or see other people's, and lots of great people with knowledge in many areas. It's open to anyone from 6pm-9ish on Tuesdays and Fridays, and a low monthly membership fee gets you 24/7 access. Tools include a well-outfitted wood shop, metalworking and welding equipment, CNC routers and mills of varying sizes, a vacuum former, 3d printers, an electronics workbench with soldering and test equipment, vinyl cutters, and a ham radio shack. I do work here on electronic music, radios, and microcontroller projects; others work on such things as rocketry, quadcopters, arcade machines, and a while back one fellow built a canoe. There are occasional group projects to collaborate on, like our ongoing near-space balloon launches, or compete in, like our pumpkin-chuckings.

Holy cow this place is great, full of tools, but what even greater is the community itself. Love it!

A small space but a dense one, with laser cutters, a real decent vacuum former, and a CNC Bridgeport mill.

Stopped in for an open-hack - met some great people working on some interesting things.
