I wish to thank Anthony Wilson, a Funeral Director with Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home in Alexandria, Virginia. He was able to expertly and professionally help my family with the final arrangements after the sudden loss of a beloved family member who lived in Washington, D.C. Mr. Wilson was compassionate, caring and able to facilitate the final arrangements in a very short period of time even with the added difficulties of Covid 19. I highly recommend Mr. Wilson to anyone near Washington, D.C. or Northern Virginia who wants the best final arrangements for a loved one. Everly-Wheatley is a beautiful funeral home. They put everyone at ease, and they make sure the families are taken care of. Everything is very professional and straightforward. Their is ample parking, plenty of pews in the viewing rooms, bathrooms, and a small front desk. They even offered to take pictures for our family, so all members could be in the picture. It's a pretty easy place to find.

Due to a long list of events, I had to make a last minute change to this funeral home. I had an issue early on which was quickly forgotten due to the amazing service of the staff I had the pleasure of working with. Karyn is the most compassionate and professional person I could've asked to work with. Through a few stressful breakdowns on my end she did everything she could to help me make this the easiest process ever. She was quick, precise and went above and beyond to help me through this complicated and sensitive process. Her boss Scott also couldn't have been anymore attentive to make sure everything went well for us. Kristen was the onsite for our viewing services and the funeral the next day - SHE WAS AMAZING; so sweet, so attentive and went above and beyond - she clearly is made for this industry. Scott, Karyn and Kristen give this funeral home and business the best reputation in their industry. Everything couldn't have gone better. I highly recommend them.

I am very late in posting a review but wanted to acknowledge the great service in handling my mother's funeral. Mom died in New Jersey and Everly-Wheatley managed transporting her to Virginia and then taking care of her until we could bury her at Arlington National Cemetery 4 months later. Staff was professional and communicated well.
