I would not recommend Exterior Design Studio to anyone. There are other companies who stand by their work, and EDS is not one of them. The work is fine, but if anything doesn't come in, good luck dealing with Mark. When we moved in last October, we had Mark out before the winter to make sure we didn't need to protect the plants. He said "nope, you don't need to do a thing". Come Spring, we lost multiple trees and bushes, some to animal damage b/c they weren't wrapped, and others did not come back up. Had he told me, I would have wrapped the trees. He would not do anything about it "unless we did more work in the backyard." His terms state that he won't replace animal damage, but he also doesn't send out contracts so you can't hold anything against him regardless. I've never bee more disappointed in a small business owner's response to a problem. Do the right thing for your customers, Mark. EDIT: Exterior Design initially offered to say they would replace at cost. Later, they rescinded the offer and said they can't help. The "response from owner" is incorrect.

Exterior Design Studio has been my sole landscape design company for the past 19 years. They've landscaped every home I have lived in and I would not dream of using any other company. I've referred them to my friends who have also become happy customers. Their landscape designs are nothing short of amazing. I value the knowledge, creativity and quality customer service Mark brings to the table. He or one of his office staff always follows up if I have a question. Most recently, I wanted to re-design a section around my back patio. I can't say enough good things about the crew who came to complete the work. They were attentive to every detail and made the new section of my patio my favorite to date.
