From the creative cocktails to the tasty tapas, this place is a hidden gem. The food was wonderful and on par with anything you'd find in a high quality restaurant in a metropolitan area. The cocktails were as inventive and unique as the food. I'll definitely be back.
Was just here for a quick weekend trip, but coming here was one of the highlights of the trip. COVID restrictions are pretty well maintained and it's great to see the staff consistently wearing masks, enforcing social distancing, etc. If you can get an outdoor dining spot, it's perfect as the tables are pretty far apart. The food is amazing! We dined in one day and got take-out the other day and the quality is consistently maintained. Love the Catalan spinach and the ravioli. The combination of flavors and presentation is pretty amazing! Size wise, portions are not overly generous so be sure to get a few dishes per person. Definitely would come back.
Omg i can't believe there is such an awesome little tapas place in Fairport Harbor! We got to hear the story behind the place from one of the owners and our dining group sampled many of the plates. They were all phenomenal, I was especially impressed by the calamari fries and the stuffed dates! Delicious! The cocktails are also strong and very well balanced. Give this place a try!
As the host, I chose The Pompadour to provide my company with a great first impression of Fairport Harbor. A tapas restaurant located in an otherwise inconspicuous building, I was immediately impressed when entering. I learned of The Pompadour's hidden value from Foursquare- due to photos provided by other visitors. Design concept is folksy & charming, with a full coin backdrop against the bar. Guests have the option to dine inside or on the patio, which is adorned with local plants & flowers. We sat inside, at one of the Himalayan sea salt candle-lit tables. Menu items contain imported ingredients from the Mediterranean with high emphasis placed on presentation. Fresh seafood used in dishes, high quality ingredients & personable service can be expected when visiting. We were engaged in extensive conversation by our server, Mike. The Pompadour's history & our menu items were thoroughly explained & deconstructed during conversation. An excellent touch to our experience.
