Office staff is great Carol the older lady a little rude the Doctor is just plain rude, bedside manner is horrible,cold and doesn't explain much, you can tell with ease they are just after billing your ins. Way over priced frames my mom spent over 200 for 1 pair. My elderly mom is the one who had the appointment she asked me to leave this review. Reviews in groups on fb are consistent with how Dr.Heinke behaves to bad the staff is awesome but the Doc is not.

Extremely helpful, cheerful, and supportive doctor. She helped me through my squeamishness around having my eyes checked. Staff was helpful in picking out glasses. overall good atmosphere.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Heinke and staff! My husband and I along with our two boys just went in for appointments and everything went very smoothly. They were careful and cautious yet extremely efficient during this crazy time. We always feel well taken care of when we visit. We would highly recommend Dr. Heinke and her incredible staff to take care of all your eye care needs!

I’ve been to many eye doctors in the Mchenry County area and Dr. Heinke has been by far the best. She explains everything very well and you can tell she is very knowledgeable about her profession. My family and I were very happy with the way our exams went. The staff was also very friendly! I have been wearing glasses for 30 years and my favorite frames ever came from here. Will definitely be returning and I highly recommend Family Eye Care of Woodstock and Lake Geneva to anyone searching for a fantastic eye doctor.
