Several years ago the F.A.R.M cafe was started on King Street. The owner wanted a place to serve great food to everyone whether they can pay for it or not. Feed All Regardless of Means. Anyone can get a meal here, donate money or work off to their tab. FOLLOW ME FOR MORE LOCAL INSIDER INFO

We finally were able to stop by for lunch. Wonderful cafe. Volunteers are very helpful and explained everything to us. Food was really delicious - especially the soup! You pay either the suggested donation or a bit more or you volunteer. Great idea - everyone eats!
My husband and I watched your interview on Unctv. Well! Today we visits all the way from Sunset Beach, NC. Lunch was not only healthy but super delicious. Your service is a blessing. We wish The Farm cafe” the best of the best. Once again, thank you and God bless you. Ps.. we also got to meet the lady who did the interview. Wow!! Super kind sweet lady ️

Love the atmosphere and mission of this place! From the staff consisting mostly of volunteers, to them never turning down a plate to anyone regardless of money, to their daily menu change, it’s a place to visit in Boone. Pay it forward when you go and purchase a plate chip for someone who may be in need of lunch! Pictured is their homemade hummus :) delicious!
