Great paella, excellent service, and comfortable decor. Spanish restaurants are few and far between, this one makes me wish there were more. Distinct flavor of the traditional spices are subtle, yet pleasantly show through the dish. The lamb arrived and was served churrascaria style and the fried goat cheese was crispy on the outside, yet smooth and creamy on the inside.

Went there last week, and I really have to say that they dont lie with their billboards. Probably the best Food i ate while my whole America-Trip. A very sympathetic chef or waiter, I dont know to be honest. But get there and try it out. Its really worth it.

Imagine for a second the most amazing food you've ever tasted. Remember the way it transported you into a brand new world where everything was perfect and no wrong could ever be done. A world where every bite of chocolate is exactly like the very first time you tasted it. Now imagine that dish tasting like cheap McDonald's compared to what you will experience here. The steaks are prime cuts of aged beef that have been charred to perfection by the luscious licks of the flames from a wood burning grill. They bathe them in a garlic butter and herb blend that would leave even Gordon Ramsay cursing at himself feverishly for never having been able to compose such a sweet symphony of flavor in the kitchen. With this you also get an assortment of mixed vegetable slaw and saffron rice that I never knew I had been missing till I tried it. Before the meal they serve you a hearty loaf of freshly baked bread with a high quality olive oil, herb, and balsamic vinaigrette blend(this is most certainly not the cheap stuff). Now one word of caution: this place does come with a high price tag. I can say without a doubt it is worth every penny though. This is not a place you'd bring a casual acquaintance or even your employees for a working lunch. This is where you'd bring the love of your life, possibly to propose, so that you can instill in them they mean the world to you and you want them to have the very best.

Absolutely delicious food! Very friendly staff! We did not have a reservation here, but we did arrive as they were opening and were welcomed to an open table. Fresh snapper was one of the best prepared fish I've ever had. Will definitely be back.

We were referred here by a local resident who claimed this to be one of her favorite places to dine. The restaurant is only a block or two from the ocean in a building resembling a converted big chain steak house. Visually, this is not really the sort of place I would go to without a recommendation. We were greeted by very friendly staff at this Portuguese Restaurant and seated quickly in spite of it being Saturday night just after 8. The atmosphere has a friendly ambiance suitable for family dining and sharing meals. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We had him give us an overview of local favorites and were not disappointed by any of his recommendations. The menu is expansive and features a variety of local caught seafood prepared to perfection. We enjoyed a Caesar salad with anchovies, shrimp Tapas, fresh grouper, and seafood and meat paella. All of the portions were large and the food was very good and well seasoned. I'm not a huge fan of sangria, but highly recommend trying it here. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next visit to Amelia Island.

Amazing! Easily the best restaurant in Amelia Island. We ordered Tapas and split them. They were all very good. Our favorite was the fried goat cheese. The plantains and vegetables were also extremely delicious. For dessert we had the tres leches cake. Just like everything else, it was amazing. I definitely recommend La Mancha to anyone in Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach looking for a great meal.

Wife and I went for the paella. It was excellent. You get a lot of food here for the money. Flavors were amazing. Got the in house spicy sauce cuz my wife and I like spicy food. It was really good. Can't say much more than must try if you visit the island. Can't believe we waited this long to actually go here for dinner. The tapas we saw being delivered to others looked plentiful and very well presented. The atmosphere is really nice. A Cool Spring or fall night outside would be excellent. The live music was average but entertaining comma the song selection was top-notch, if you're 80 according to my wife.
